Hi, Jon here, I have been visiting the forests and mountains for many years, with particular attention to the parks and forests close to Christchurch, my home town.

The main focus of this blog will be the walks and tracks within Arthur's
Pass National Park, the first National Park I ever visited and my
tramping home.

Eventually, you will also find information about tramping /hiking, the history of tramping in the park, general park history, environmental issues, mountaineering and outdoor concerns all related to Arthur's Pass.
